Me...
My name is Robyn and I am 41 years old. I'm also known as Rob, Roy, Boris and Mum! My journey has been awesome, tiring at times but ultimately brilliant. From a career spanning 17 years in Environmental Health, I went on to sell French children's clothes, sex toys and jewellery! Prior to relocating to Morecambe in 2012, I made jewellery - in particular, personalised hand, foot, paw and fingerprint items.
Today, based at my home studio, I fulfill orders for personalised prints in addition to creating and selling my unique artwork. You can buy directly from me at my studio or from this site. More recently, you may see my work in a number of shops and boutiques throughout the country.

Having always lived a considerable distance from the coast, I have taken every opportunity to spend time by the sea. I've always been drawn to the power of the ocean, coupled with it's calmness - an awesome diversity, unique in so many ways.
In April 2012, from the comfort of my bed in Banbury, and with the power of the internet and an i-pad, I stumbled across a property for sale in the seaside town of Morecambe. Intrigued by the "panoramic sea views" offered by the property, we made the trip the very next day and were proud owners of the house a mere 4 weeks later.
So, in June 2012, we moved ourselves, our 2 children and 2 dogs from the relative sanity of a 3 bedroom estate house in Banbury, to a 12 bedroom ex-hotel, with a shop underneath, on the promenade in Morecambe.
The pictures to the right are taken from our home, mostly from my office window which leads out onto a balcony. Each and every sunset is different and the mountains of the lake district create a beautiful and dramatic backdrop.
Inspired by nature's beauty, my artistic journey began by collecting a few pieces of seaglass from the beach, to fill an old glass jar that I had rescued from going to the tip. In truth, I have no idea at what point I thought that using the pieces of seaglass for art was a good idea, but I did and I do and the results are pretty cool!
Driftwood followed soon after as I began to trawl the shore for pieces of wood to craft into candle holders, clocks, signs and many other such things.
I truly love what I do and I hope that is reflected in my work.
